Frequently asked questions
Quick answers before you begin.
For account-specific help, contact support using the email address registered with WashQ.
How do I book a vehicle wash?
Choose Quick Booking, sign in or create your verified account, add the vehicle, select an available center and service, and confirm the offered slot.
Are the landing-page prices final?
No. They are starting-price guides. The selected center confirms service inclusions, taxes, pickup availability, timing and final price before payment.
How can I follow an active booking?
Sign in to the customer account used for the booking. The booking record shows confirmed status updates, payment records and available support actions.
What should I do if payment status is unclear?
Do not repeat the payment immediately. Refresh the booking or payment record first. If the status remains unclear, contact support with the booking reference.
How do refunds work?
Eligible refund requests are reviewed against the booking, payment and cancellation records. Approved amounts cannot exceed the remaining refundable balance.
Who can create a partner account?
A business owner or authorised representative can start partner registration. Employees should use the role and access provided by their center.
Is there a partner trial?
Eligible new partners can use WashQ until 7 days or 50 confirmed bookings, whichever comes first, without a plan charge. The trial starts when the first shop is created; a paid plan is required to continue operational access after it ends.

Legal
Terms of service
Effective 26 August 2026 · WashQ · India
These terms govern access to WashQ’s customer and partner applications, websites and related services.
1. Eligibility, authority and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering the relevant agreement. A person registering a business confirms that they are its owner or authorised representative. You must provide accurate information, secure your device and credentials, and use only assigned roles and permissions. OTPs, passwords and PINs must not be shared.
2. WashQ’s platform role
WashQ provides discovery, booking, workflow, POS and business-operation technology. Unless a checkout expressly states otherwise, the selected vehicle-care center—not WashQ—is the provider of the vehicle service and remains responsible for workmanship, staff, facilities, safety, availability, service pricing, local licences, customer care and applicable taxes.
3. Bookings and service information
Service descriptions, availability, duration, pickup or delivery, warranty, offers and displayed prices can vary by center, vehicle and confirmed scope. Review the center, service inclusions, taxes, cancellation terms and final amount before confirming. A booking request is not acceptance until the platform shows confirmation.
4. Partner plans and trial
The partner trial starts when the first shop is created and ends after 7 days or 50 confirmed bookings, whichever comes first. Partner plans are annual, billed upfront and applied per shop location. Current price, taxes, limits, included features, term and any recurring mandate must be shown before payment authorisation. Operational access may pause when a trial or paid term expires; expiry does not itself delete existing records.
5. Payments and payment providers
Online payments are processed through supported payment providers. WashQ does not ask users to send complete card, bank, UPI PIN or payment credentials to support. A displayed initiation or pending status is not proof of successful capture or settlement. Provider, bank and network rules may also apply.
6. Cancellations, refunds and disputes
Customer-booking and partner-subscription cancellations follow the policy linked at checkout and the relevant records. Refund eligibility depends on the confirmed scope, service progress, used benefits, prior refunds and applicable law. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded.
7. Partner POS, invoices and tax records
Partners control the accuracy of their catalog, prices, discounts, GSTIN, place of supply, tax rate, invoice issuer, receipt information, cash drawer and accounting entries. WashQ reports and GST summaries are operational aids and are not tax, accounting or legal advice. A partner must obtain professional advice and issue legally compliant invoices or bills where required.
8. Data, permissions and customer authority
Partners may access customer and vehicle information only for authorised service, support, safety, accounting and lawful business purposes. QR linking, photographs, location, marketing contact and sharing with employees require the relevant authority or permission. Partners must not export, sell, scrape or reuse platform data for unrelated purposes.
9. Acceptable use
You may not impersonate another person, bypass access controls, misuse personal data, manipulate bookings or financial records, upload unlawful or harmful material, interfere with platform operation, reverse engineer protected components, or use WashQ for fraud or unlawful activity.
10. Intellectual property and licence
WashQ grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended purpose during authorised access. WashQ software, branding and platform content remain protected. Users retain responsibility for content they submit and permit WashQ and its processors to host and process it to operate the service.
11. Suspension, termination and export
Access may be limited or suspended for expiry, non-payment, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach or protection of users and systems. Where reasonably available and lawful, notice or a corrective step will be provided. Partners should export required business records before access ends; legally required financial, security and audit records may be retained.
12. Availability and third-party services
Maintenance, connectivity, app stores, maps, messaging, cloud hosting and payment providers can affect availability. WashQ does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, but this does not limit obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Liability
Each party remains responsible for loss caused by its fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence, legal non-compliance or breach. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law. No clause transfers a center’s vehicle-service responsibility to WashQ merely because the platform records the booking or payment.
14. Governing law, changes and severability
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes remain subject to competent courts and statutory consumer forums as applicable. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Material changes will be published with a revised effective date and, where required, fresh notice or consent.
15. Contact and grievances
Questions, legal notices and grievances can be sent to support@washq.in. Do not include passwords, OTPs, PINs or complete payment credentials.
Legal
Privacy policy
Effective 26 August 2026 · WashQ · India
This policy explains the information WashQ processes to provide customer, partner and operational services.
1. Scope and roles
This policy applies to WashQ websites, customer applications, partner applications and related support. WashQ determines processing for platform accounts, security and platform operations. Participating centers may separately determine how they use customer information for their own service, legal and business purposes and must provide any notice required of them.
2. Personal data we process
This can include names, email addresses, mobile numbers, user IDs, roles, addresses, vehicle details, business and staff profiles, bookings, service notes and evidence, QR associations, invoices, payment references, refunds, support communications, consent and preference records, device and app data, IP and security logs, and approximate or precise location when a feature requires it and permission is granted. WashQ does not require support users to provide complete card details, UPI PINs, passwords or OTPs.
3. Sources
Data may come from you, an authorised business owner or manager, another authorised account member, a participating center, a payment or communications provider, your device with permission, and records generated when the platform is used.
4. Purposes
We process data to create and secure accounts; verify roles; operate check-in, bookings, assignments, pickup and delivery; maintain customer and vehicle history; provide POS, invoices and reports; support payments, refunds and subscriptions; send transactional messages; provide support; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain audit evidence; comply with law; and improve reliability.
5. Consent and other permitted processing
Where consent is required, the request should describe the data and purpose in clear language and permit withdrawal. Some processing may continue without consent where necessary or authorised under applicable law, including security, legal claims, accounting and compliance. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate earlier lawful processing and may make a requested feature unavailable.
6. Location, camera, notifications and QR
Device permissions are requested only when a related feature needs them. Location supports nearby centers, pickup, delivery or navigation; camera or media access supports QR scanning and authorised service evidence; notifications deliver account or operational updates. You can change device permissions, although the related feature may stop working.
7. Sharing and processors
Relevant information may be shared with the selected center and its authorised staff, the customer connected to a booking, and providers supporting payments, email, push notifications, maps, hosting, storage, analytics, security and customer support. Providers should receive only what is reasonably needed for their function. We do not sell personal data.
8. International processing
Some technology providers may process or support data from locations outside India, subject to contractual, security and applicable legal requirements and any transfer restrictions notified by the Government of India.
9. Marketing and analytics
Transactional messages required for an account, booking, payment or security event are separate from promotional communication. Promotional contact should use recorded permission or another lawful basis and provide an available opt-out. The website may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand page performance; browser controls can limit available storage or tracking.
10. Retention
Retention depends on the purpose, account or subscription status, dispute and fraud risk, limitation periods, tax and accounting requirements, security directions and legal obligations. Data no longer needed for a lawful purpose should be deleted or anonymised, subject to backups and required financial, security, audit or legal records.
11. Security and incidents
We use role-based access, verification, encryption where appropriate, logging, backups and vendor controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected compromise promptly. WashQ will investigate and provide notifications to affected persons or authorities where applicable law requires them.
12. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to a summary of your data and processing, correction, completion, updating or erasure; withdraw consent; manage communication and device permissions; raise a grievance; and nominate another person to exercise rights in circumstances recognised by law. Requests may require identity verification and can be limited by lawful retention duties.
13. Children
WashQ is not intended for independent use by children. A parent or lawful guardian must manage any permitted child-related data and consent. We do not knowingly use children’s data for targeted advertising or behavioural monitoring.
14. Privacy contact
Send privacy questions, rights requests or grievances to support@washq.in with the subject “Privacy request”. Do not include passwords, OTPs, PINs or complete payment credentials.
Legal
Refund and cancellation policy
Effective 26 August 2026 · Customer bookings
Refund decisions are based on the confirmed booking, payment, cancellation and service records.
Who provides the service
The selected vehicle-care center is responsible for the vehicle service, confirmed scope, workmanship, local pricing and center-specific cancellation terms. WashQ provides the booking and operational platform and supports platform, payment-record and escalation issues.
Booking cancellation
Before confirmation, review the center, service, final amount, scheduled time, pickup terms and cancellation disclosure. Cancellation availability and any charge depend on those confirmed terms, pickup status, work already performed and applicable law. A charge must not be imposed unless properly disclosed and lawfully applicable.
Refund requests
Refund requests can be submitted for eligible completed or cancelled bookings using the available account flow or support channel. Include the booking and payment reference. A request status is not approval; the decision and reason should be recorded against the booking.
Refundable amount
An approved refund cannot exceed the remaining refundable balance for the booking and payment after prior refunds, used benefits and applicable charges.
Processing
Approved online-payment refunds are initiated through an available supported method, normally to the original payment source where supported. Bank, card, UPI or payment-provider processing time may vary after initiation. WashQ will provide the available refund reference when generated.
Cash and wallet records
Cash or wallet-related adjustments follow the verified booking, center and ledger records. A displayed request status is not confirmation that funds have settled.
Chargebacks and duplicate payments
Report a suspected duplicate or unauthorised payment promptly and do not submit repeated payment attempts while a transaction is pending. A bank or payment-provider dispute may follow separate rules; keep the booking and payment references available.
Statutory rights and help
This policy does not restrict remedies available under applicable Indian consumer law. Contact WashQ support if a confirmed refund does not appear after the payment provider’s normal processing period or if the center does not address a service complaint.
Partner policy
Partner subscription cancellation
Effective 26 August 2026 · WashQ partner plans
This policy applies to paid WashQ plans purchased by vehicle-care businesses.
Free trial
Eligible new partners can use WashQ until 7 days or 50 confirmed bookings, whichever comes first, without a plan charge. The trial starts when the first shop is created. A paid plan is required to continue operational access after the trial ends.
Activation and recurring mandates
Before payment, checkout must show the selected plan, shop location, term, total price, applicable taxes and whether the payment is one-time or authorises a recurring mandate. A recurring debit may occur only under the mandate accepted through the payment provider and remains subject to provider, bank and applicable RBI requirements.
Cancellation
An authorised owner can request cancellation through available billing controls or partner support. Cancellation must not be made unnecessarily difficult. When completed before the applicable renewal cut-off, it prevents the next WashQ renewal request; cancellation does not reverse a charge already validly processed.
Current plan access
Unless otherwise confirmed, cancellation does not erase operational records and access continues only for the remaining paid or trial period.
Charges, failed renewals and refunds
Partner plan fees already charged are not automatically refundable. Any exception is reviewed against activation, usage, duplicate payment, material service unavailability and applicable law. A failed or reversed renewal does not activate a paid term; verify provider status before retrying.
Data after cancellation
Export important business records before access ends. Some financial, audit, support and compliance records may be retained as required.
Tax documents
Where legally applicable, WashQ will issue the subscription invoice or receipt using the business and tax information recorded for the purchaser. The partner is responsible for providing accurate legal name, address, GSTIN and place-of-supply information before issue.
Support and disputes
Send subscription cancellation, mandate or billing requests from the registered owner email to support@washq.in. Include the shop and payment reference but never include complete payment credentials, an OTP or UPI PIN.

WashQ customer and partner accounts
You can request deletion from the WashQ app or ask our support team for help.
Request deletion in the app
- Sign in to the WashQ account you want to delete.
- Open your profile and choose Privacy settings.

If you cannot access your account
Email support@washq.in from your registered email address with the subject “Account deletion request”. If your account uses a mobile number, include that registered number. Never send a password, PIN or OTP.
What is deleted
After the account and request are verified, WashQ deletes or anonymises profile information and other personal data that is no longer required to provide the service.
What may be retained
Some booking, payment, invoice, refund, fraud-prevention, security and audit records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution or safety obligations. Retained records are restricted to those purposes and removed or anonymised when the applicable retention period ends.
Withdrawal of consent
A privacy request may withdraw consent for a specified optional purpose without deleting the entire account. Processing required for an active service, security, accounting, legal claim or other lawful purpose may continue as permitted by law.
